September Meeting: Guest Speaker Trina O’Rourke

Our September meeting speaker will be Trina O’Rourke from The Cotton Harvest Quilt Shop.

Trina is a Sue Spargo-trained teacher and will be speaking to the guild about wool appliqué, stitching, and the workshop she will be teaching in October.

October Workshop: Wool Appliqué with Trina O’Rourke

Trina O’Rourke will lead a wool appliqué workshop featuring Sue Spargo stitches on October 2, 2026, at Lakehurst Hall.

This workshop is being shared with the Millbrook Needlers.

Trina will speak at their meeting on October 1, before leading the workshop on October 2.

Cost: $60, including a $25 kit
Class size: 20 participants

The workshop is initially open to 10 participants from each guild. A waiting list will be kept if there is additional interest.

The kit includes the wool needed for the class, along with access to the beautiful threads Trina will bring with her.

This will be a great class for anyone interested in wool appliqué, whether you are new to the technique or looking to build your stitching skills.
