2025 Quilt Show

The Buckhorn Area Quilters’ Guild was delighted to welcome visitors, vendors, members, and friends to our 2025 quilt show, held September 5 and 6 at the Buckhorn Community Centre.

Set in the beautiful outdoor surroundings of the Buckhorn Community Centre, the show once again brought together an inspiring display of quilting, creativity, and community.

The main building featured a stunning collection of quilts made by BAQG members, showcasing a wide range of styles, techniques, colours, and stories. Across the grounds, visitors enjoyed quilt-related displays, demonstrations, our member’s boutique, a merchant mall, scissor and small tool sharpening, and a welcoming tea room for lunch and snacks.

We were also pleased to welcome Elaine Theriault as our 2025 Feature Quilter. Her work and quilting expertise were a wonderful addition to the show.

Thank you as well to Quilts for Cancer and Quilts of Valour for joining us and sharing their important work with visitors.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, displayed quilts, helped behind the scenes, and supported the show. Events like this are only possible because of the time, care, and generosity of so many people.

Thank you to the merchants who joined us for the 2025 show:

Quilting at the Lakes will return on September 10 and 11, 2027, at the Buckhorn Community Centre.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another beautiful quilt show in Buckhorn. More details will be shared closer to the show dates.
